6 Critical Life Lessons

1. Run the Day

“Either you run the day or the day runs you.” ~Jim Rohn

It’s that simple, either you run your day or your day runs you. Either you say what’s going to happen or the events of the day will dictate to you what happens.
You must have a plan; you must have a track to run on. If you have no plan you will wander and you will accomplish a fraction of what you could have otherwise accomplished.
Decide to run your days; after all, they are your days.

2. Progress is Progress

“Even if you fall on your face, you’re still moving forward.” ~Victor Kiam

Les Brown said, “If you fall down, try to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up.” It’s okay to fail, it’s okay to fall down, this is how you learn to succeed. What if a small child, after stumbling 20 times said, “This ‘walking thing’ isn’t for me?”
Then he or she would never learn what is innate in them to do. They would never reach the potential that lies within them concerning mobility.
If you stumble, if you make a mistake, that’s okay. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move forward until you succeed.

3. Expect Problems

“Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.” ~Alfred A. Montapert
Expect problems and then overcome them, go around them, jump over them, run through them, eat them up and spit them out. Pain is nothing to a giant. A problem isn’t a problem. It’s just a test to qualify you for the next level.
So pass the test!

4. Get into Action

“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.” ~Thomas Jefferson

Your actions define who you are; your actions bring to light your potential, your passion, and your power. Your actions reveal your difference, and it is your difference from others that are the foundation of your success. How are you different from others? Do you know?
Get into action so that you discover your difference, and use your difference to create your legacy.

5. Think Bigger

“Go big or go home. Because it’s true. What do you have to lose?” ~Eliza Dushku

Save little accomplishments for little people! If you’re going to do something, do it big! No guts, no glory. You have to push yourself beyond the little box that you’ve been trapped in, and you have to break the chains of mediocrity which seem to keep you bound.
Anyone can do something small. If you’re going to be a success, “Go big!”

6. Balance

“Follow your dreams, work hard, practice and persevere. Make sure you eat a variety of foods, get plenty of exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle.” ~Sasha Cohen

My father use to say, “Balance is the key to life.” Any one extreme becomes a disadvantage. Work hard, but play hard. Life a healthy life that’s sustainable and you’ll be around long enough to turn the impossible, into the possible

  1. As-Salam-o-Alaikum Respected Aisha,

This is great effort but in my opinion some of the quotes you mentioned can be replaced with some of the others as well. For example,

    God gave burdens, also shoulders.

The darkest hour has only sixty minutes.

I have woven a parachute out of everything broken.

If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.

Hardship is best sailed with heart ship.

    But nevertheless good effort.

    Thanks & Best Regards,
