What is true source of Happiness?
Happiness does not come from doing easy work
but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement
of a difficult task that demanded our best.

A Poem Worth Reading...
Don’t ever let people tell you that you aren’t good enough
Because you are.
Don’t ever give up your dreams
Because you need them.
Don’t ever compromise your morals
Because they make you who you are.
Don’t ever hide your feelings
Because someone’s willing to hear them.
Don’t ever think you’ve got it all figured out
Because the next moment you won’t.
Don’t ever live your life in the past
Because then you’ll miss out on the now.
Don’t ever let people bring you down
Because they don’t deserve to.
Don’t ever be someone you aren’t
Because then you’ll never know you who really are.
Don’t ever let someone tell you how you feel
Because it’s not their right to.
Don’t ever give up something that feels right
Because it probably is.
Don’t ever worry about the petty things
Because they just don’t matter.
Don’t ever run away from your problems
Because they always find you.
Don’t ever be afraid to take risks
Because they make life worth living.
Don’t ever let someone take away your happiness
Because it was never theirs to take.
Because you are.
Don’t ever give up your dreams
Because you need them.
Don’t ever compromise your morals
Because they make you who you are.
Don’t ever hide your feelings
Because someone’s willing to hear them.
Don’t ever think you’ve got it all figured out
Because the next moment you won’t.
Don’t ever live your life in the past
Because then you’ll miss out on the now.
Don’t ever let people bring you down

Story about Missed God's blessings because we can't see past our own desires
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.
Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box.
Curious, and somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound book, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angry, he rose his voice to his father and said "with all your money, you give me a used book?" and stormed out of the house.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still gift-wrapped book, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the book and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined.
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the book. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God's blessings because we can't see past our own desires?
Words that can give meaning to Life...
You are strong when you take your grief and teach it to smile.
You are brave when you overcome your fears and help others to do the same.
You are loving when your pain does not blind you to the pain of others.
You are wise when you know the limits of your wisdom.
You are true when you admit there are times you fool yourself.
You are alive when tomorrow’s hope means more to you than yesterday’s mistake…
You are brave when you overcome your fears and help others to do the same.
You are loving when your pain does not blind you to the pain of others.
You are wise when you know the limits of your wisdom.
You are true when you admit there are times you fool yourself.
You are alive when tomorrow’s hope means more to you than yesterday’s mistake…

Quote
Waves are inspiring not because they rise and fall ...,
But because each time when they fall, They never fail to rise again !!!
But because each time when they fall, They never fail to rise again !!!
Three masters
When one Guru was dying, one of his disciple asked him "Guruji, who was your master?"He said, "I had thousands of masters. If I just relate their names it will take months, years and it is too late. But three masters I will certainly tell you about.
One was a thief. Once I got lost in the desert, and when I reached a village it was very late, everything was closed. But at last I found one man who was trying to make a hole in the wall of a house. I asked him where I could stay and he said 'At this time of night it will be difficult, but you can say with me - if you can stay with a thief'.And the man was so beautiful. I stayed for one month! And each night he would say to me, 'Now I am going to my work. You rest, you pray.' When he came back I would ask 'Could you get anything?' He would say, 'Not tonight. But tomorrow I will try again, God willing.' He was never in a state of hopelessness, he was always happy.
When I was meditating and meditating for years on end and nothing was happening, many times the moment came when I was so desperate, so hopeless, that I thought to stop all this nonsense. And suddenly I would remember the thief who would say every night, 'God willing, tomorrow it is going to happen.'
And my second master was a dog. I was going to the river, thirsty and a dog came. He was also thirsty. He looked into the river, he saw another dog there -- his own image -- and became afraid. He would bard and run away, but his thirst was so much that he would come back. Finally, despite his fear, he just jumped into the water, and the image disappeared. And I knew that a message had come to me from God: one has to jump in spite of all fears.
And the third master was a small child. I entered a town and a child was carrying a lit candle. He was going to the mosque to put the candle there.
'Just joking,' I asked the boy, 'Have you lit the candle yourself?' He said, 'Yes sir.' And I asked, 'There was a moment when the candle was unlit, then there was a moment when the candle was lit. Can you show me the source from which the light came?' And the boy laughed, blew out the candle, and said, 'Now you have seen the light going. Where has it gone? You will tell me!'
My ego was shattered, my whole knowledge was shattered. And that moment I felt my own stupidity. Since then I dropped all my knowledgeability.
It is true that I had no master. That does not mean that I was not a disciple. I accepted the whole existence as my master. My Disciplehood was a greater involvement than yours is. I trusted the clouds, the trees. I trusted existence as such. I had no master because I had millions of masters I learned from every possible source. To be a disciple is a must on the path.
What does it mean to be a disciple? It means to be able to learn. To be available to learn to be vulnerable to existence. With a master you start learning to learn.
The master is a swimming pool where you can learn how to swim. Once you have learned, all the oceans are yours."

what is true Peace of Mind
There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.
But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.
Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?
"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."
If we can have a steady mind and peaceful heart midst problems, if we can keep ourselves controlled in most difficult situations, that is peace

Role of Challenges in Our Life...
The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish. If the return trip took more than a few days, the fish were not fresh. The Japanese did not like the taste.
To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen and they did not like frozen fish. The frozen fish brought a lower price.
So fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but alive. Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference. Because the fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish.
So how did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem?
How do they get fresh-tasting fish to Japan? If you were consulting the fish industry, what would you recommend?
How Japanese Fish Stay Fresh
To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks. But now they add a small shark to each tank. The shark eats a few fish, but most of the fish arrive in a very lively state. The fish are challenged.
The Lesson
Have you realized that some of us are also living in a pond but most of the time tired & dull, so we need a Shark in our life to keep us awake and moving?
Basically in our lives Sharks are new challenges to keep us active and taste better…
The more intelligent, persistent and competent you are, the more you enjoy a challenge. If your challenges are the correct size, and if you are steadily conquering those challenges, you are Conqueror. You think of your challenges and get energized. You are excited to try new solutions.

Refusing to Accept Failure
Hillary walked on stage to a thunderous applause. The audience was recognizing an attempt at greatness, but Edmund Hillary saw himself as a failure. He moved away from the microphone and walked to the edge of the platform. He made a fist and pointed at a picture of the mountain. He said in a loud voice, "Mount Everest, you beat me the first time, but I'll beat you the next time because you've grown all you are going to grow... but I'm still growing!"
Never mind failures; they are quite natural, they are the beauty of life, these failures. What would life be without them? It would not be worth having if it were not for struggles. Where would be the poetry of life? Never mind the struggles, the mistakes. I never heard a cow tell a lie, but it is only a cow--never a man. So never mind these failures, these little backsliding; hold the ideal a thousand times, and if you fail thousand times, make the attempt once more. But if you cannot see that thing which you like best, and then see infinite life before the soul. Take your time and you will achieve your end.

The "Be" Attitudes
Be understanding to your enemies.
Be loyal to your friends.
Be strong enough to face the world each day.
Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.
Be generous to those who need your help.
Be frugal with that you need yourself.
Be wise enough to know that you do not know everything.
Be foolish enough to believe in miracles.
Be willing to share your joys.
Be willing to share the sorrows of others.
Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.
Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.
Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.
Be sure where your next step will fall, so that you will not tumble.
Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.
Be loving to those who love you.
Be loving to those who do not love you; they may change.
Above all, be yourself.

The secret of Success as explained by Socrates
A young man asked Socrates the secret of Success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met.
Socrates asked the young man to walk with him towards the river.
When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The man struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until he started turning blue.
The young man struggled hard and finally managed to get out and the first thing he did was to gasp and take deep breath. Socrates asked 'What you wanted the most when you were there?' The man replied 'Air'.
Socrates said 'that's the most secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted air, you will get it. There is no other secret'.

C O N F I D E N C E
When Henry Ward Beecher was a young boy in school, he learned a lesson in self confidence which he never forgot.
He was called upon to recite in front of the class. He had hardly begun when the teacher interrupted with an emphatic, "No!" He started over and again the teacher thundered, "No!"
Humiliated, Henry sat down. The next boy rose to recite and had just begun when the teacher shouted, "No!"
This student, however, kept on with the recitation until he completed it. As he sat down, the teacher replied, "Very good!"
Henry was irritated. "I recited just as he did," he complained to the teacher. But the instructor replied, "It is not enough to know your lesson; you must be sure.
When you allowed me to stop you, it meant that you were uncertain. If all the world says, 'No!' it is your business to say, 'Yes!' and prove it."
The world will say, "No!" in a thousand ways.
"No! You can't do that."
"No! You are wrong."
"No! You are too old."
"No! You are too young."
"No! You are too weak."
"No! It will never work."
"No! You don't have the education."
"No! You don't have the background."
"No! You don't have the money."
"No! It can't be done."
And each "No!" you hear has the potential to erode your confidence bit by bit until you quit all together. Though the world says, "No!" to you today, will you determine to say, "YES!" and prove it?

Simplify and be happy...
A philosophy professor gave one question for the final exam…
The class was seated when the professor touched his chair & asked: “using everything we’ve learned, prove that this chair does NOT EXIST”. The whole class answered for an hour but the laziest student finished the test in less than a minute.. one week Later, the grades were posted in the class & the lazy student got the highest score..
Hs answer consisted of just 2 words.. “What chair?”
Don’t over analyze or complicate things. Simplify and be happy...

Practice Being Like a Child by Jim Rohn
Remember the master teacher said 2000 years ago, “Unless you can become like little children, your chances are zero, you haven’t got a prayer.” A major consideration for adults.
Be like children and remember there are four ways to be more like a child no matter how old you get –
1) Curiosity - Be curious. Childish curiosity. Learn to be curious like a child. What will kids do if they want to know something bad enough? You’re right. They will bug you. Kids can ask a million questions. You think they’re through. They’ve got another million. They will keep plaguing you. They can drive you right to the brink.
Also kids use their curiosity to learn. Have you ever noticed that while adults are stepping on ants, children are studying them? A child’s curiosity is what helps them to reach, learn and grow.
2) Excitement - Learn to get excited like a child. There is nothing that has more magic than childish excitement. So excited you hate to go to bed at night. Can’t wait to get up in the morning. So excited that you’re about to explode. How can anyone resist that kind of childish magic? Now, once in awhile I meet someone who says, “Well, I’m a little too mature for all that childish excitement.” Isn’t that pitiful? You’ve got to weep for these kinds of people. All I’ve got to say is, “If you’re too old to get excited, you’re old.” Don’t get that old.
3) Faith - Faith like a child. Faith is childish. How else would you describe it? Some people say, “Let’s be adult about it.” Oh no. No. Adults too often have a tendency to be overly skeptical. Some adults even have a tendency to be cynical. Adults say, “Yeah. I’ve heard that old positive line before. It will be a long day in June before I fall for that positive line. You’ve got to prove to me it’s any good.” See, that’s adult, but kids aren’t that way. Kids think you can get anything. They are really funny. You tell kids, “We’re going to have three swimming pools.” And they say, “Yeah. Three. One each. Stay out of my swimming pool.” See, they start dividing them up right away, but adults are not like that. Adults say, “Three swimming pools? You’re out of your mind. Most people don’t even have one swimming pool. You’ll be lucky to get a tub in the back yard.” You notice the difference? No wonder the master teacher said, “Unless you can become like little children, your chances, they’re skinny.”
4) Trust - Trust is a childish virtue, but it has great merit. Have you heard the expression “sleep like a baby”? That’s it. Childish trust. After you’ve gotten an A+ for the day, leave it in somebody else’s hands.
Curiosity, excitement, faith and trust. Wow, what a powerful combination to bring (back) into our lives.

Get Rid Of Excuses and Take Action
The biggest test most of us face is our habits; our laziness, absence of inspiration. I have yet to meet a person who does not want to be successful. Why then are only so few successful? The answer to that is no top-secret; we all wish to succeed, but very few are ready to invest in the hard work that is related to success, whatever be the aim. And, couple that with our born laziness, in many ways, it is the glamour pack of the media that is to be blamed for increasing the delusion that there are shortcuts to success or that success entirely depends on Luck. Nothing can be further from the truth...
No article on a successful photographer will speak of the hundreds; say thousands, of photographs that he had to take over many years of hard work before the essence of a creative person found expression in the person. Similarly, no interviewer will dwell on the back-breaking effort and years of struggle, often coupled with depression, that goes into the life of a painter before he gets critical acclaim. And that is because no one wants to dwell beyond the pretty picture-perfect image of success. As they say, no one wants to cast the first stone...
One way to correct our false notions is to read the biographies, of successful people and get inspired, by their struggles.
Another key is to write down on one side of a piece of paper all that you want to be. And on the other side of the same page, all the issues that are holding you back. For example, if you want a great physique, write against it all the hindrances that you are facing that are preventing you from achieving your goal. Maybe you are feeling lazy, or you wake up late each morning or you do not have the time, or whatever. When you put it down in black and white, you will discover that all the reasons are actually EXCUSES!
Face yourself and realize that the actual speed breaker along your goal to success is YOU. So wake up and make a real beginning. After all, tomorrow is another day...

Act Now
Ask your friends what is the greatest labour-saving device ever invented and you will get varied answers. Men may believe that it is the automobile, the computer, or maybe a robot.
Women may think it is the washing machine or plumbing which brings water into your homes. No, it is none of these; it is the word ‘tomorrow’. The word is a wonderful excuse for putting off things and it is also an excuse for not delivering. Sadly, it is also the reason for failures that have bedeviled the lives of many people who have not been able to leverage their potential.
We come across many talented people who had wonderful ideas. But they just did not execute it and before long, someone else walks away with the honors. For example, I met a talented stand-up comedian from Los Angeles who had come up with a wonderful concept for a comedy television series. But he sat on it for six months. Someone else wrote it out and presented it to the channel and it is now a top ranking television show in the US. He is cursing his stars now.
If you analyze the situation, the problem with our tomorrows is the gap between an idea and its execution. It is a sense of laziness that overcomes many of us. Delays pile up beyond days, and the days then turn into months. And before long we pass the anniversary of our big idea.
Many of us have fallen in this gap, but we learn our lessons. Unfortunately, many still do not. This problem is particularly true among teenagers who have a habit of chilling out and believe that their parents are killjoys for expecting things to be done in time. They grow out of this habit when they join the mainstream of the working class, because in an office situation, delays are not condoned beyond a point.
But it is largely the creative fields that are mainly seized with this problem, as there are no deadlines when you are alone. You will find many writers working endlessly on scripts as you will find many composers thinking of that great tune.
And the problem is that they do not push themselves to their limits. In my own case, I am frequently down with colds, viral fever and a bad throat due to my constant travelling. Yet I push myself to the very edge and report on the sets every time, and on time. I never make excuses and keep my commitments, much to the amazement of my manager. I am not alone in my profession; there are others too who are very professional. And that is the reason why they are successful.
So take your commitment seriously and do not procrastinate. Hold review meetings with yourself every night and analyse if the time you spent that day could have been more fruitfully spent. And finally, be a hard taskmaster on yourself. Because you will gain to benefit the most from the exercise.
